With decades of collective experience in executing projects, we developed a deep appreciation for the crucial role that task management and team communication play in a successful project outcome. Equipped with this insight, we went looking for tools that could do what we needed and could be used by someone who’s not a certified project manager or a scrum master. Sadly, we were disappointed. Then came taskport. We set out to develop a task management application that we could use ourselves to streamline our AI projects and deliver the exceptional performance that our clients were accustomed to.
Being AI and ML experts ourselves, we immediately thought of ways to use AI and ML to remove the common roadblocks of task management that make our folks trip and fall on their path to success: structuring a project, providing a clear task description, identifying dependencies, and setting up follow-up tasks. We also applied our patented Natural Language Understanding (NLU) technology to make user interaction fluid and simple. After road testing this application in-house for over three years and seeing it work wonders first-hand, we have decided to share it with the public.
The team stepped outside the office, both metaphorically and physically, and used taskport for home. With a user-centered mindset, we asked around and talked to a whole bunch of folks—working moms, stay-at-home dads, single parents, a gig-worker and everyone in between—to create a task management app that works at home, at the office, and on the go.
