Account notifications

User notifications serve to inform individuals about various activities and updates pertaining to their tasks, events, projects, and lists within Taskport. These notifications are generated based on tasks/events reminders, shared activities, or task assignments.

Taskport provides two types of notifications:

  1. Push Notifications: These are received on your mobile device. To receive push notifications, ensure that you have granted notification permissions to the Taskport app on your device.
  2. Email Notifications: These are sent to the email associated with your Taskport home and work mode email addresses. To manage your home & work email addresses, refer to the “Home and Work Email” article.

You have the flexibility to customize both your mobile and email notifications for each activity. Follow these steps to manage your notifications:

  1. Open the app menu and click on the Settings icon.
  2. Navigate to the Notifications section.
  3. Toggle the switches on or off for each activity according to your preferences.

It’s important to note that your notification settings apply individually to each mode (home/work), so be sure to customize them accordingly.
